Well I'm back.I only have a few minutes as my darling hubby has popped out.He isn't very tolerant of my blogging time sometimes!
I have a dilemma. In my previous life, that is the one before blogging,I had quite a good little ebay thing going on.I did really well selling my vintage finds and it was a good little money earner.Since blogging almost none of my on-line time has been devoted to poor old ebay.I am still thrifting for things to sell but just not listing! As you can imagine things are building up.Just look at my cellar...
Yes almost everything you see needs to be photographed, weighed, measured and described. Then packaged and posted! It's not the only place full to the brim there's the garage and the wardrobes and even under the beds!Aghhhh!!!You can see my dilemma.
Last time I did an ebay or stay it really spurred me on and I actually got lots listed and sold.So here I am again asking for your help.Let me know whether the following items should 'Stay or Ebay'.
First is a lovely floral print probably from the 40's maybe slightly later.I do love it and it could possibly hang in my utility room when it's finished.
Next is a lovely vintage umbrella.I think it dates from the 1960's.It is pretty but do I really need it?
Then there's this lovely Ridgeway large serving bowl again from the 60's maybe earlier.I had to buy it as it was a bargain but it doesn't really fit in with the rest of my dishes.
Lastly (for now) is a set of vintage tins.I bought this set because of the shelves.I have some lovely tins that I want to display and this shelf is perfect.I just don't know whether to keep the tins or not! There are 3 vintage Tala tins (bottom) and 3 vinatge Garrison tins (top). They are very well used and a little rusty outside. The insides are lovely and clean so still useable.
Whilst I was routing I came across these two treasures. Now they are very well used and do show lots of signs of wear outside.I think that they have been kept somewhere a little damp and the paint has flaked off in a number of places and a little rust as you can see. They would still make lovely storage and display items but probably won't sell on eBay.So if anyone would like to do a swap I could do with some ribbon!Any colours, patterns and sizes would be greatly appreciated!!
First is a vintage Tala tea tin...
...and then there's a very similar unmarked sugar shaker...
So first come first served basis.Just leave a comment and send me an email if you are interested.
Don't forget to let me know about the ebay or stay items aswell please!
