Well my girls broke up for the 2 week Easter holiday last friday.I love them being at home but we have so much to fit in there just hasn't been time for blogging!I have so many thank yous to say but don't have time to say them properly -yet!I will get round to it soon.
Josies birthday last thurs ended up taking the whole weekend.Lucky girl! The girls wanted to make some suprise bunting so disappeared to one of the bedrooms for a few hours.I think it took us longer to clear up though!Along with some decorated balloons we hung the bunting in the kitchen (under renovation!) so please excuse the background,in fact don't look!!!
We had 2 parties over the weekend a joint one with cousin Patrick who was 9 and a 'barbecue' with Josies best friends Lois and Zach(and siblings!).Unfortunately April hail-showers meant the 'barbecue' was inside but we all had a great time.
Monday is childminding day so I had 5 little treasures to entertain all day.We had a really lazy post party morning then decorated some egg-cups for Easter presents in the afternoon. It was such a lovely crisp day that after tea we took a walk to the park.We are so blessed by the fact that right on our doorstep is a lovely park that has boating lake complete with victorian boat-house.We love to go late in the day when everybody has gone home and feed all the water birds there are even some beautiful swans!I forgot to take my camera will do next time:)
On the way back we gathered some dandelion leaves for our guinea-pigs and a collected lots of sticks. The girls then made a 'fire' to keep them 'warm' in the backyard...
...what do they look like? (Macbeth I hear you shout -how cruel!!)
I have managed to get a little crafting done.Miss Eliza is feeling a little lonely in my Etsy Shop so I'm making her a little friend. Here's a sneak peak...
I hope to finish her this week sometime, maybe?
